This Cookie Policy explains how EVE NeuroSystems LLC ("EVE," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar browser storage on https://evecore.com and in our authenticated application areas. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Local storage is a related mechanism that keeps small pieces of data in your browser but is not automatically transmitted with every request. Both let a site remember things between page loads — such as keeping you signed in or remembering your display preferences. Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the site you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by another domain). They can last only for your current session or persist for a set period. EVE uses these technologies sparingly and only for the purposes described below.
Cookies and storage we use
The table below lists every cookie and browser-storage item EVE relies on. We do not set any others.

Records whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics, so the notice does not ask again. It holds your choice and the time you made it, nothing more. The cookie mirror exists because browser localStorage is per-origin: without it a choice made on docs.evecore.com would be invisible on evecore.com and you would be asked again on every subdomain. A choice made on evecore.com cannot be shared with eveaicore.com, which is a different registrable domain. |

Individual pages remember how you left them: whether the sidebar was collapsed, your choices on the interactive console, the display settings on a product microsite, and anything you generated in a demo so the page can show it back to you. Our sign-in, sign-up and connected-accounts pages load Google's sign-in library so the "Continue with Google" button can be shown. Google sets this cookie to remember that you dismissed its sign-in prompt. The public marketing site does not require you to sign in and therefore sets no authentication cookie until you enter an authenticated area. The theme preference is written to localStorage the moment you change the theme.
No advertising or tracking
We do not use analytics, advertising, marketing, retargeting, social-media, or any other third-party tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager and no advertising pixel on this site. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. The only cookies we set are the strictly necessary session/authentication cookies described above; the only third-party cookie that can appear is Google's sign-in cookie, and only on the sign-in, sign-up and connected-accounts pages. Our own measurement of two pages, described next, is optional, off unless you accept it, and uses browser storage rather than cookies.
Cloudflare sits in front of this site. Every request reaches Cloudflare before it reaches us: it is our content-delivery and security network, and it is named on our sub-processor list. In delivering a page it necessarily handles your IP address, the address you asked for and your browser's user agent in transit — it routes the request, it does not keep a record of you for us. It sets no cookie of ours and writes nothing to your browser storage. Cloudflare inserts two scripts into our pages. One obfuscates email addresses so that address-harvesting bots cannot read them. The other is Cloudflare Web Analytics, a page counter. For each page view it records the address you asked for, the site that referred you, your country (derived from your IP address), your device type, and your browser and operating system, and it measures how quickly the page loaded. It sets no cookie and writes nothing to your browser, but it is always on, and you cannot switch it off from this page — Cloudflare inserts it at the network edge, before the page reaches you, so the consent choice below cannot reach it. It runs for every visitor whose browser executes it; a content blocker, or any browser that blocks the script, prevents it reporting. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager and no advertising pixel.
Two of our own pages measure use, and only if you accept. The EVE Core Lab page (/lab) and the design-partner application page (/start-pilot) record which steps visitors reach, so we can see where people get stuck. Each keeps a random identifier in your browser (eve_lab_sid and eve_pilot_sid in the table above) and sends it with those events; our server records a hashed form of the request's IP address against them, not the address itself, and keeps those rows for 90 days before deleting them automatically. Neither runs, and neither identifier is created, unless you accept analytics in the cookie notice — and neither runs at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Withdraw at any time using Cookie settings below: the identifier is deleted from your browser and the measurement stops. No advertising or cross-site tracking is involved, and this data is never sold or shared.
Third-party requests
No advertising or tracking; limited open-source assets
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, pixels or tag managers, and nothing on this site tracks you across other websites. Our web fonts are self-hosted (no Google Fonts request). Apart from Cloudflare's edge page counter described above, the only measurement on this site is the two optional first-party page counters, and those stay off unless you accept them. Every request to this site reaches Cloudflare first: Cloudflare is our network and security layer and terminates the encrypted connection at the location nearest you, which is why it is named as a sub-processor. Some interactive pages also load a few open-source display libraries (for example Chart.js and three.js) from public content-delivery networks (jsDelivr and unpkg). Those requests disclose your IP address to the CDN as part of delivering the file, but they set no cookie and are not used to track you; the libraries are listed on our licenses page.
Consent basis
Strictly necessary cookies — such as the session/authentication token that keeps you signed in — are exempt from prior-consent requirements because the service cannot function without them. We therefore do not display a consent banner for these essential cookies.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process the data in these essential cookies on the basis of necessity to provide the service you have requested (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interests in securing the application (Art. 6(1)(f)).
If we introduce non-essential cookies (for example, analytics) in the future, we will first deploy an in-page consent notice and will not set those cookies until you have opted in.
Your right to complain
EU and UK visitors also have the right to lodge a complaint with their data protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk). See our Privacy Policy for the full list of your rights.
How to control cookies and storage
You remain in control. You can view, block, or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session/authentication cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to the application. Clearing localStorage will reset your saved theme preference.
The simplest way to clear both cookies and stored preferences (including your theme choice) is through your browser settings: go to Privacy or Site settings, find eveaicore.com, and choose Clear or Delete site data. As an optional advanced alternative, you can open your browser's developer tools and clear stored site data for eveaicore.com manually.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes affecting non-essential cookies will be accompanied by the in-page consent notice described in the Consent basis section.
